5 Things You Can (and should) Do With Your New PC

Classic Review: Fallout New Vegas

IntroHello everyone and welcome to Classic Game Reviews, a series where we go back to the best games ever made, and take a look at how they stand today StoryFallout New Vegas is a post-apocalyptic game based in, you guessed it, Vegas. You begin your journey after being shot in the head and left for dead. You survive and explore the vast land of New Vegas. The game takes place in 2281, four years after the events of fallout three. Although, this game IS NOT a direct sequel to Fallout 3. GameplayThe gameplay handles well. The V.A.T.S system allows the player to have a more role-playing aspect to the game. If you aren’t interested in that, don’t worry, you aren’t forced to use it. You can choose between 1st and 3rd person perspectives which is really nice to have, and you can even gamble when you go to the New Vegas strip. The amount of quest and side-quests are phenomenal. It is very hard to get bored with the game. There is something in the wasteland for everyone. Brief HistoryFallout: N…

Mac or Windows? The Age Old Question Revisited

Intro Just a disclaimer: I am only going to be discussing the OS, not the actual parts and specs. There are way too many different computers that run one or the other. I will only be talking about how user-friendly it is and which one is a better fit for you.

Mac At a glance, the Mac OS is a very clean and welcoming experience. The dock is a great place to store commonly-used applications. And they still allowed desktop icons (I'm looking at you Chrome OS). The only problem with Macs is that they can be expensive. But if you have the money, you might want to look into this OS. If you are already in the Apple ecosystem, then you should be halfway to the store to buy one. The Apple ecosystem is one of their biggest selling points because everything works in perfect harmony. So, let's just say you own an Apple Watch, iPhone and the Homepod, then you would be considered as someone in the Apple ecosystem. But let's say your knew to tech and are on a clean slate, no past experie…

Samsung Galaxy S9 review

Intro I just recently switched from Apple's iPhone SE to the Samsung Galaxy S9. The S9 seemed so much better for me for quite a few reasons. I was ale to make the switch easily because I wasn't too attached to the Apple ecosystem. the Apple ecosystem might come up when you ask someone why they bought an Apple product. The Apple ecosystem makes every Apple device work in sync with each other. For example, if you get a text message on your iPhone, you get the message on your Mac. So if you aren't already attached to the Apple ecosystem, take a listen to what Samsung has to offer
SpecsThe S9's processor is a Snapdragon 845, which isn't as powerful as the iPhone X's A11 processor but works perfectly fine for Android. The RAM for the S9 is 4gb and the S9+ has 6gb (which is a LOT for a phone). Both of the phones do better than the iPhone X in this department (the iPhone only has 3gb). The camera on the S9 and S9+ is the first phone to have dual aperture lenses. This…

Far Cry 5 Review

Far Cry 5 is the newest addition to the Far Cry franchise. It takes place in Montana. You are captured by a religious cult whose leader's name is 'The Father'. There are 3 regions with characters that run them.

Game play
The game can be played on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 1. The AI in the game was very good, so good it made me rage quit at times. The control layout is standard for an FPS, as usual. But, for PS4, I missed the ability to use the weapon wheel navigation from the touch pad. The weapon wheel is still there, though. The problem is, the game plays too much like the other Far Cry games. I enjoyed it, but I wished it was more seperated from the other Far Cry games. There is a big selection of weapons to use in the game. There is also DLC that you can buy. They don't do very much I don't recommend the DLC very much because of how expensive it is and what liitle it adds to the game itself.
